Are you Ready for Some Football

Yeah this is the official start of my son's football season.

When Two Are in love

The artist Prince once wrote " when two are in love ... falling leaves will appear to them like slow motion rain..." So i guess this is me expressing my love for this camera. This leaf is not photo shopped in this is a real shot. Even tho if you ask a real photographer he will always tell you that it's not the camera it's the photographer sometimes the simple feats like this can only be done by being in the right place at the right time with the right equipment.

So "cheers" to my D60 .... i love how you help me show the world what i see.

Who's on your shoulder

They say behind every man there is a great woman …right? Here’s a better question who controls the lil man on her shoulder? My wife makes me second guess my decisions sometimes but I know she supports my efforts never the less what fuels her to say some of the things that she says. Is it her want for me to succeed or her fear of my failure. After all…my failure is our failure but if failure make you stronger then shouldn’t the want for your love one to succeed take a back seat some of the time.
I recall a time when I was teaching my son how to turn the door knob. In the house he would turn knobs and go into any room he wanted to get into, this drove me insane.

Well one day me and the little one were out in the yard kicking the ball and his mother came to the window. Being the mother’s boy that he is, he decided at that point that our time was done and he wanted to be with his mother. There was only one obstacle standing between him and mommy …(dun dun dun) our front door knob. I refused to to walk up to it and let him in besides he was the door knob champion in our house. After all he had succeeded in walking in on my number two time and my shower time so many times therefore it was time he put that knob turning expertise to good use. After I made sure the door was unlocked I sat outside with him crying until he realized all he had to do was turn the knob. He fail several times to open the door how ever once he realized that I wasn’t gonna solve the problem for him, he figured out how to open the door. My point is this sometimes failure is good I know as “better halves” “significant others” … parents or even just plain ol friends we have to let people fall and as long as your there to help them back up and figure out what went wrong they will grow.
